Contracts
Our quote is our contract once the deposit is paid.
An approximate start date will be provided with the quote and an exact start date and time will be given when it can be determined.
We are also happy to provide a formal contract on request.
Communication
Call us during normal business hours, daily. However, since we are often working with tools and products which prevent access to the phone, we can't always answer immediately. Leave a message or send a text and we'll respond as soon as possible.

Warranty
All our work comes with an automatic 1 year warranty, unless explicitly noted otherwise. However, should you run into an issue outside of this timeline, please contact us as we stand behind our installations and will still warranty some work outside of that time period.
Our Flexstone warranty is 5 to 15 years. During the first 5 years our warranty covers both the product and labour for that period of time. After the 5 year period, Flexstone will cover the materials, but not the labour needed to fix the deck. Should your Flexstone deck have any problems, please let us know immediately.
What is covered?
While warranty work on our decks isn't very common, a settling deck may cause cracks in the membrane or edges to lifting slightly. a deck settling. These issues are covered by warranty.
What is not covered?
Scratches to the deck surface, for example, from dragging a chair without a footing or dropping something very sharp and heavy, are not covered. Also our product can have a chemical reaction to rubber, and areas under a rubber mat may yellow over time. This is also not covered. However, we can repair these issues. Please take a picture of the problem and we will do our best to rectify the situation for you. We try to be generous with our warranty policy to ensure our customer are happy with their renovations.

Startin Renovations Inc. is a registered business with the Canada Revenue Agency.
We have a GST # that can be provided upon request.
We are WorkSafeBC Certified and provide a WorkSafe clearance certificate upon request.
We are insured and can provide an Insurance certificate upon request.
Should you need other documentation please let us know and we can work to provide you with the appropriate documentation.
